ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Business and Management
Overview : This qualification is equivalent to A-Levels and is designed for learners aged 16 and above who wish to progress to a business or management degree but may not have traditional entry qualifications. It provides a strong foundation in the core principles of business, preparing students for the rigours of higher education.
Area of Learning :
The curriculum provides a solid foundation in business through seven mandatory units and two optional units. Learners begin by exploring the business environment and how external factors influence organisational decisions, followed by an understanding of internal structures and operations. The programme strengthens communication skills, teamwork abilities, market research techniques, and basic financial control knowledge while also developing leadership and people-management capabilities.
To personalise their learning, students select two optional units that can focus on areas such as marketing and sales, human resources, organisational strategy, online marketing, international business, or project management. This combination of core subjects and elective choices equips learners with practical skills and a broad understanding of modern business operations, preparing them for a variety of career paths.
ATHE Level 7 Diploma in Healthcare Management
Overview : This postgraduate-level qualification is tailored for experienced healthcare professionals, including clinicians and administrators, who are aspiring to senior leadership and management roles. The programme provides a deep understanding of the strategic challenges facing the healthcare sector and equips learners with the skills to lead change, manage resources effectively, and improve the quality of care delivery.
Area of Learning : The programme provides advanced strategic management skills tailored to the healthcare sector. Mandatory units cover organisational behaviour, managing finance in the public sector, international healthcare policy, continuous organisational improvement, developing organisational vision and strategic direction, and research for senior managers, giving learners a strong foundation in leadership and strategic decision-making within healthcare organisations. Optional units allow learners to specialise in areas such as human resource management, project management, programme leadership, strategic resource management, risk management, stakeholder engagement, corporate communication, equality and diversity, sustainable business strategy, and managing quality and service delivery. This combination equips learners with both strategic insight and practical skills necessary for senior leadership roles in healthcare.

ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management
Overview : Equivalent to the first year of a bachelor’s degree, this qualification is designed for learners seeking roles in junior management. It develops a comprehensive understanding of core business functions and the skills required to operate effectively within an organization.
Area of Learning : The programme develops key managerial and business skills through four mandatory and four optional units. It begins with an understanding of the business environment, organisational behaviour, effective communication, and financial and management accounting, giving learners a strong foundation in how organisations operate and make decisions.
Students then customise their learning by selecting four optional units in areas such as resource management, marketing, corporate social responsibility, project management, entrepreneurship, customer relations, information and knowledge management, quality management, operations, or digital communications. This combination of core and elective topics equips learners with practical skills and specialised knowledge suited for a variety of management and leadership roles.

ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business and Management
