ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Business and Management

Overview : This qualification is equivalent to A-Levels and is designed for learners aged 16 and above who wish to progress to a business or management degree but may not have traditional entry qualifications. It provides a strong foundation in the core principles of business, preparing students for the rigours of higher education.

Area of Learning : The curriculum provides a solid foundation in business through seven mandatory units and two optional units. Learners begin by exploring the business environment and how external factors influence organisational decisions, followed by an understanding of internal structures and operations. The programme strengthens communication skills, teamwork abilities, market research techniques, and basic financial control knowledge while also developing leadership and people-management capabilities. To personalise their learning, students select two optional units that can focus on areas such as marketing and sales, human resources, organisational strategy, online marketing, international business, or project management. This combination of core subjects and elective choices equips learners with practical skills and a broad understanding of modern business operations, preparing them for a variety of career paths.

CTH Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism

Overview : This is an introductory programme designed for newcomers to the field, typically aged 16-18. It provides a fundamental understanding of the hospitality and tourism industries, building the essential knowledge and skills needed for higher-level studies or entry-level roles.
Area of Learning :The diploma provides foundational knowledge and skills for the tourism and hospitality sector through five mandatory units. Learners gain expertise in human resources and business computing, marketing and customer relationships, the structure and operation of the tourism and hospitality industry, core operational practices, and essential study skills. This combination equips students with a broad understanding of the sector and prepares them for further study or entry-level roles in tourism and hospitality.

CTH Level 4 Diploma in Hospitality Management

Overview : This qualification is equivalent to the first year of a bachelor’s degree. It combines practical, career-focused elements with essential management disciplines, providing the skills needed for the workplace and the theory required for advancement into management roles and further education.
